Overnight Couples’ retreat – Focusing on Communication, Sex and Money

You are invited to register for our next couple’s retreat program.  This is the third in the series and we will be focusing on the importance of getting the balance right in your marriage with communication, sex and money.

Money and sex are two of the main causes of argument,  disagreement and breakdown of marriages. Money is a tool but could easily take the driver’s seat of your marriage and dictate the health of the relationship. As well, sex could either elevate a marriage or cause distress in the relationship. We will explore the different angles to these two important topics and discuss how effective communication could help bridge any gap caused by money or sex.

• What are the scriptural perspective to handling money in marriages?
• How do you cope with the challenges associated with demand for money?
• How much influence is money and sex having on your relationship?
• How would you assess the health of your marriage?

This event promises to be a night of fun and fellowship with your spouse and with other couples!

We’ll have some comedy, refreshment, games, movie and dance. This is the best $230 you’ll invest in your marriage. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Date: Friday April 3rd and Saturday April 4th

Time:  Friday: 7:30pm – 10:00pm; Saturday: 9am – 1pm

Venue: Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites (20 Freeport Place NE, Calgary, Alberta)

Cost: $230 per couple (includes one-night stay, light dinner and refreshment and full continental breakfast on Saturday for two)

Proposed Agenda:

• Arrival and check in (from 3pm on Friday)
• Dinner – you and your spouse in your room
• Friday Night – Movie night  and couple dance
• Saturday – Discussions on the topic of communication, sex and money
